Leila Hafzi: che origini ha questo nome?
Leila significa notte o come dice mio padre,"notte di stelle". E' un nome che mi si addice molto. La mia vena creativa prende vita proprio di notte, quando il mondo dorme e nessuno può interrompere la creatività.
Stilista per scelta o per caso?
A 18 anni avevo in mente diversi outfits, ma non trovavo nessuno di questi nei negozi. Ero sicura di cosa mi piaceva e determinata ad averlo. Poi ho iniziato ad usare la macchina da cucire di mia madre ed a 21 anni ho deciso d'entrare nel mondo della moda. Nel 1997 ho creato la mia prima collezione in Nepal.
Una donna indossa i tuoi capi e di colpo si trasforma in principessa, in fata .. che trucco usi?
Ahahahah ;) più di una principessa o di una fata spero! Accade ... è qualcosa che va al di la del sogno, fluttua tra realtà e presenza. Una donna che indossa LH è concreta e la sua presenza è talmente reale che può togliere il fiato al pubblico che ha difronte.
Sembra buffo, ma ho bisogno della monotonia. Do il mio meglio con una spremuta o un caffe in una giornata di sole, circondata di fiori, alberi e un'atmosfera tranquilla.

Positiva, tranquilla e paziente.

Ahahahahah! Ho una canzone per voi che canto sempre con mio nipote di 2 anni:

Leila Hafzi: which is the origin of your name?
Leila means night or as my father said "night of stars". It's a name that suits me, in fact my most creative mood is at night, when the world sleeps and no one can interrupt the creativity.
Designer for your choice or just happened?
When 18 years old I had several outfits in mind but did not find them in the shops. I was sure on what I liked and determined to get it. I started stitching on my mothers sewing machine first and then I decided to go in to fashion. In 1997 I made my first collection in Nepal.
Could you tell us something about your style brand?
I am creating out from a dream, out from a feeling. I believe many women has the princess, the goddess that she truly is within herself.
A woman wears your dresses and she becomes a princess or a fairy, which is your trick? Aahahaha ;) more than a princess or a fairy! This is even more dreamy, more floating between reality and presence. A woman waring LH is present, she is real and as we experience takes the breath out of the audience.
Where do you take your ispirations? Funny enough I crave for boredom, I'm at my best with an orange Juice or coffee in the sun, sorrounded by flowers, trees and calm atmosphere.
Three adjectives to describe yourself
Positive, calm and patient.

La mia creatività proviene da un sogno, da una sensazione. Credo che ogni donna nasconda una principessa dentro di se'. Una donna indossa i tuoi capi e di colpo si trasforma in principessa, in fata .. che trucco usi?

Qual'è per te il traguardo più grande?
Ritirarmi presto e lavorare meno ... no scherzo! Il mio sogno è provare che il Nepal può produrre ed esportare creazioni moda d'alta qualità ... lo sta già facendo, ma vorrei rafforzarlo ancora di più.

Your life-motto is? Nothing is impossible
Which is your best goal? Retire early and work less .. no!! My dream of proving that Nepal can produce and export high quality products, this is now reality but we have to increase it!
